MEET BEAR #16!!

Bear is one big, good boy. He doesn't understand his size and his own strength. He is excited to meet anyone and will try and jump on your lap. He is good with children (not aggressive at all) once he calms down around them. He would do best with older, larger children because when he greets someone or gets the zoomies, he may accidentally run into them. That's a lot of mass to run into a small child.

Bear is house trained, crate trained and leash trained. He needs to be harnessed when out and about and fenced in or contained properly when no one is watching him. He loves to play fetch cuddle  and go for car rides (make sure to strap his harness to the seat belt, so he stays in one place). If you are an active person, then Bear is the dog for you. He is an active boy who needs to get outside a lot and go hiking or running or some sort of vigorous exercise. He has allergies and sneezes when outdoors and there is high pollen.

Bear has been reactive towards other dogs and needs an introduction to any cat he meets. Give him good food (no human food) because he has a sensitive stomach. Bear is the best. He is very loyal, nice to humans and loves stuffies. Just a very sweet boy. Meet Bear today!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters will be required to complete our Adoption Application, read and sign our Adopting Policies and Procedures, and participate in a home visit by one of our adoption representatives. Our Adoption Application is located on our website: www.underdogaz.com.

We also have a mandatory two-week Foster With Intent to Adopt trial period for all animals in order to be certain the pet is a good fit for your family.

Our standard adoption fee for dogs is $200; puppies are $250.

Non-standard fees do sometimes apply. Puppies younger than six months may have a higher fee. Designer dogs, purebreds, and other toy type breeds may also have higher adoption fees than the standard $200.

We do, however, have discounted fees for dogs that are seniors, a pair of dogs adopted together, or cats. If you are a veteran or an active duty service member, please ask about our partnership with Pets For Patriots.

All Underdog pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped prior to adoption.

We are a 501c3 non profit, your donations save lives and are 100% tax deductible.
