My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gigi
Domestic Shorthair, Born in August 2022, Brown Tabby, Spayed female

Hi there! I’m Gigi, a 2-year-old brown tabby with a snazzy white bib and sparkling white paws that make me look like I’m always ready for a fancy dinner party! I’m a little shy at first, but don’t let that fool you—I’m a sweetheart at heart. I came from a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program, and while I’m still getting used to all the new sights and sounds at the adoption center, I’m slowly but surely finding my courage.

We’re still getting to know my full personality, but so far, I’ve shown a love for gentle pets and cozy spots to curl up in. With a bit of patience and a loving hand, I’m sure I’ll reveal more of my charming self. If you’re looking for a furry friend who’s ready to grow and blossom with you, I might just be the purr-fect addition to your family. Can’t wait to meet you and find my forever home!

Paws and purrs,

Gigi

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
