My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Mint’s Tale 🐾
Hello there! My name is Mint, and I’m a 4-year-old female Jindo mix with a beautiful white coat. I weigh 14 kg and am on a quest to find my forever home! 🐶
Once upon a time, I found myself in a kill shelter. The kind people there described me as calm and comfortable. When I was rescued, all the workers came out to say goodbye because I’m so lovable. Now, I’m ready to start a new chapter with a loving family! 💖
In my daily adventures:
• I’m very affectionate and love to approach people, both familiar faces and strangers. I enjoy rubbing against them and soaking up all the pets. 🥰
• I welcome children under 13 years old and take snacks gently from them. 🍪
• Once I become friendly, I’ll roll over and show you my belly for some delightful rubs. 🐾
• I greet strange dogs politely but don’t play with them much. 🐕
• I’m generally friendly towards dogs of a similar or smaller size to myself. 🐶
• Even if other dogs try to provoke me, I prefer to avoid confrontation. 🐾
• I don’t react to cats, so I’m pretty cat-friendly. 🐱
• I love outdoor activities and have a normal energy level, but after a good play session, I enjoy resting quietly. 🌳
• I have plenty of walking experience and follow well without pulling on the leash. 🚶‍♀️
• I don’t guard my food against people or other dogs. 🍲
• I’m a quiet companion and hardly ever bark. 🤫
• I’m calm when put in a kennel. 🏠
• I generally only do my business outside. 🚽
Fun Facts about Me:
• I’m very calm and affectionate, always ready for some love and attention. 🥰
• I make great eye contact with people and approach them very calmly.
• I’m very clean and walk well too! 🚶‍♀️
• If you foster me, you’ll likely want to adopt me because I’m so lovable. 💕
Looking for My Forever Home: I’m a gentle and loving dog looking for a family that can appreciate my calm and affectionate nature. Are you the one who can give me the forever home I deserve? Let’s find out together! 🏡💕
Paws and Kisses,
Mint 🐾

Chenny's Happy Tails Rescue Canada is a not-for-profit group(Corporate name: 12023318 CANADA FOUNDATION) registered in Canada, based in Toronto, Canada.

We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.

We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
Chenny's Happy Tails Korea rescues and rehabilitates dogs to make them ready to be adopted.
Chenny's Happy Tails Canada works on finding the best adopter for each dog who can provide them a forever loving home and reliable care.
