I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Ivette, and I am a cute little kitten! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitten self.

What My Foster Says About Me(10/24) Irene and Ivette are such fun, social kittens. They love to play and chase each other all day long, and really keep each other entertained. They’re curious about everything and always exploring something new (drawers, closets, in the shower, under my covers). They love to climb and are very social so they like to be in the room where you are. They also listen to commands, so when I tell them, 'no' they listen, and when I call them, they usually come. When they play together all day, they’ll sleep through the night like babies (on my bed when it's cold enough). While they don't love being held, they will happily voluntarily crawl into your lap for long, purr-ful rub sessions. They're sweet girls and gentle when they play with humans. They’ve spent time with several big dogs and after a few hours, they got used to their size and presence. These girls really are a joy to be around every day.

(9/12) Irene and Ivette are such fun kittens. They love to play and chase each other all day long. They’re curious about everything and always exploring something new (drawers, closets, anything I drop on the ground). They love to climb and are very social so they like to be in the room where you are. When they play together all day, they’ll sleep through the night like babies (on my bed). They are still getting used to being held but they are warming up with being pet and love to purr when they get rubs from their human. They’ve spent time with several big dogs and after a little while, got used to their size and presence. These girls really are a joy to be around every day.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!

Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at www.luckydoganimalrescue.org.
