Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gracie, AKA Dolly, is a 50-lb white pit bull mix with the most stunning green eyes and the longest tongue you've ever seen! She loves to play fetch, take walks in the neighborhood and snuggle with her humans, young and old alike. She enjoys the company of other dogs. She is still learning how to mind her manners in the kitchen, but Gracie is eager to please, responsive to training and gives kisses to show her gratitude. She is the sweetest girl and such a doll!
Gracie was found as a stray at a local park suffering from heat stroke in July. After a scary day at the emergency vet clinic, she made a full recovery. She lives to play ball and spend time with her people!
Gracie is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.

Adopting from The Love Pit means gaining a family member. It means gaining a network of pit bull advocates, ready to support you and provide you with all of the resources we can. Most importantly, adopting from The Love Pit saves lives. When you adopt, you're saving the life of your own dog, opening space in their foster home for another shelter dog in need, and creating space in the shelter kennel for a dog whose life would have otherwise been on the line. Your thanks for all the good you've done? Lots of love and pit bull kisses to enjoy for years to come.
