My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cocoa! This sweet girl has been through alot. She came to us from a cruelty case. Background: Cocoa was found roaming around completely emaciated. We found out she had an owner and we were able to save her from her horrible living situation. Since then she has gained weight and started trusting humans. She has a gentle old soul and has been feeling a little lost and confused since coming to the shelter. She also was high heartworm positive which has been treated since then. Personality: Cocoa is a gentle and affectionate dog who loves nothing more than being by your side. She has a calm and relaxed demeanor. Ideal Home: Cocoa would do best in a home with someone who can give him plenty of love, attention, and patience.
