Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gandalf is a very sweet and loving 5 year old male. The scars on his head tell the tale of a very hard life. He is FIV positive as a result of his previous life. FIV is typically transmitted by deep bite wounds that are usually sustained during cat fights. FIV is not easily transmitted by casual, non-aggressive contact such as sharing water bowls or coexistence. Because of his weakened immune system, Gandalf MUST be a STRICTLY indoor cat. More information can be found at https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv#:~:text=The%20primary%20mode%20of%20transmission,route%20of%20spreading%20the%20virus..
Gandalf has done well with a female kitty roommate but has not been around dogs. His typical demeanor is calm, chill, and just wanting to be loved on. He would probably be ok with children.
All cats have vaccinations and are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. The adoption fee is $185. Email secondchanceresq@gmail.com for more information on our adoption process.
