Hi, I`m Stevie Nicks! Likes (so far): Humans- of all ages, shapes and sizes. I enjoy being petted, belly rubs and sniffing them. I`m good with smaller humans, I sniff them, let them pet me and play with my toys. I really like the 4yr old upstairs, she rubs my ears and tummy! And includes me in her dance routines! Toys- if they squeak, the better! I will toss them around the house or yard along with my burst of zoomies, or chase them if a human tosses it! Outside: I enjoy going on walks, I`m so good on a leash! I love using my nose and eyes to check out the neighborhood, see who else is out and count all the squirrels and bunnies. I`ve met all sorts of dogs- big, small, loud, shy- and I like greet (dog and human) with a sniff or two. So far I haven`t barked while on the leash. I enjoy hanging out in the yard, sun bathing, playing with my toys or the humans. I get the zoomies, but I get tired fast. -Learning, I love learning new things! I know (or seem to know) my name, come, sit, go, stop, off, leave it, and no. And I`m working on left and right on walks! Did I mention, I`m great walking on a leash?
Stevie loves cuddling with humans, adventures in the neighborhood and beyond, and soaking up the sun in the yard or favorite window! She is a great leash walker, is friendly to humans and dogs of all sizes. Bunnies and squirrels take top priority. She`s a smart dog who learns new tricks and skills quickly.

More about this shelter
CCRF was founded in 2001 to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city. In just over seven years, CCRF has saved the lives of over 2,000 dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.
CCRF now assists the animals that are the MOST vulnerable in Midwest - the dogs and cats that are slated for euthanasia because they are too old, too young, injured, have disabilities, or have simply been overlooked for too long by potential adopters at other shelters.
