Meet Katie. Katie is a unique, dilute calico with beautiful green eyes and is a sweet, shy, quiet and cuddly girl who loves pets and being near you, but is just as content alone.

It will take time for Katie to trust you and come out of her shell. However, once she does, she will be rubbing up against you and curling her tail around you, all while soaking up the pets and purring away. She likes to play and loves whack a mole type of games. Also, once she does open up, you’ll get to hear the smallest, cutest meow of all time AND she’ll want to sleep in bed next to (and often on) you!

Katie was rescued from a lifetime outside and doesn't like much noise or too much going on but after all that time outside, it's no surprise she is a little shy and reserved and wants to live a safe, comfy life now. She would do best in an adult only, quiet home with an experienced cat owner and only one or two people in the home. Katie can go to a home with non-dominant cats or she can be your one and only!

Katie is around 6 years old, spayed, up to date on all vaccines and is FelV negative.

Adopting a cat is a big responsibility and commitment, but it's also one of the biggest acts you can ever do for an animal in need.

Each and every cat in our care has their own story and background. They are all fully vetted, fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative (unless otherwise specified). Because of this, our adoption fee is $95 for one cat over 1-year-old or $155 for 2 and $110 for one cat under 1-year-old or $195 for 2.

Our approval process includes a vet reference (personal reference if you've not had a vet in the last 5 years), virtual home tour, and landlord approval should you be a renter.

The completion of an application does not guarantee approval for adoption.

We are a small but mighty 501(c)3 foster-based cat rescue founded in 2019 with a focus on TNVR in the Oakland, Pittsburgh neighborhood, and surrounding communities. Our mission is to provide proper vet care for feral, stray, homeless, and abandoned cats, socialize and rehabilitate rescued cats, place rescued cats into forever homes, educate and promote cat rescue and animal welfare, and educate the public on the importance of the Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, Release program.
