Meet Victoria! Victoria, and her family, were all surrendered to Wags and Whiskers, when their home was cited by Animal Control, for having far too many dogs. When Victoria came to us, nearly every inch of her emaciated body was covered in ticks. Immediately upon receiving them, Victoria and her family were treated for their tick infestation, and started on medication and high protein diets, to get them healthy and adoptable. After all these hardships, Victoria is still the sweet and affectionate towards every person she meets, and wants nothing more than to be by your side, and please you. All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home.

Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. Please take into consideration that owning a pet is a 10+ year commitment and discuss with all members of your family before submitting an application to adopt.
