Message for a loving individual willing to work with a previously abused dog.
Dude came to us one day. He hung around all day then when we got home the traffic was getting heavy so we opened our gate and he has been there since.
From how he acts he seems to have been abused. When we attempt to put him on a leash its like he has PTSD. He does not want a leash, harness or dog house.
Big adult males seem to intimate him. He is a complete different dog with kids, other dogs, and females, so playful. Unfortunately we dont know his history.
We did have him checked by animal control he is not neutered and not chipped, at the time he was checked out there was no room in any shelter.
We hope someone can help this dog thrive and be happy, with therapy, we unfortunately do not have the means.
