Hello There ! This is Lewis !!! A spirited 1 year old Italian Greyhound with a zest for life . His history is fairly unknown except that he came from a puppy mill and must have spent a lot of time on concrete floors. When he came to rescue , he did not know what to do with grass ! He knew nothing of the joys of the great outdoors and play. Now , in his foster homes he is living his best life but eager to find his permanent human. He is discovering the thrill of endless hours of fetch, the excitement of sunbathing, and has become a snuggle aficionado ! He tries to help with household chores, cleaning the counters of excess items, and has a knack for finding paper trash and shredding it for you. He also loves running and romping with his foster buddies. Though crate trained, Lewis prefers to shadow his humans around wherever they go. He is a social butterfly and very outgoing. No known experience with children but is happy to see anyone that looks like a fun companion. . He has been working very hard on his leash manners and enjoys a good walk with lots of sniffing. He frequently gets the zoomies and loves to chase any other pups, balls, stuffed toys, you name it ! He settles in for a good bone chewing session. given the chance he will be right there as close as he can get to you at night. He is steadily mastering potty habits both on leash & in his fenced backyard. This little guy would thrive with another energetic small companion pup that would match his playful spirit. A fenced backyard is a must for Lewis as he is a true site hound with excellent vision and loves to run. He has been neutered, vaxxed and fully vetted and has no health issues that are known. If you can help Lewis find his new forever home home filled with love and kindness please reach out to IN Italian Greyhound rescue at indianaigrescue@comcast.net or Kim Bunger at topironhorse2000@hotmail.com. Applications can be found at www.indianaigrescue.org or www, summitcityiggies.com Dogs are available in INdiana and bordering states only.
