My story

Meet Norman,

Norman was rescued from the sled dog industry in August 2023. He is just over one year old.

Being a young Alaskan, he has an exuberant amount of stamina! That being said, he will need an active family who will help him burn off his energy.

He is great with other dogs and loves to play with them. He is not great with cats, so a home with no cats would be best for him.

Norman’s ideal home would have one older dog that won’t put up with his schenanigans and will play endlessly with him.

He is great with kids, however his high energy levels could be cause for concern with smaller kids. Huskies like to jump and he could knock down a small child (though definitely not on purpose).

He is funny, quirky and an absolute joy to be around.
