***BEHAVIOR TEST***
Dog Test: (Okay with Dogs) Wax has not been around dogs to the shelter attendents knowledge but is chill and would probably be okay with them.
Cat Test: (Okay with Cats) Wax is okay with cats but will set boundries if he needs to.
Kid Test: (Okay with Kids) Wax would be best with older kids that respect cat boundries.
Litter Box Trained:(Uses Litter Box) Wax does use his litter box and keeps a clean kennel.
Energy Level: (Medium) Wax has a turned into a quite a lovable boy. He has opened up and really showed off his personality. He likes to take strolls around our cat rooms and explore all the nooks in our cat rooms. He hasn`t really played with toys a whole lot but i bet the more comfortable he gets the more playful he will get. He is food motivated however and will do anything for it. Wax came off the streets and he has ugly tom cat scarrs but don`t let that fool you he is ready to be a spoiled pampered cat.

More about this shelter
We are a Municipal Animal Shelter for the City of Lee's Summit. We house animals brought in by Lee's Summit Animal Control Officers and Blue Springs Animal Control Officers.
Animals are also brought to us by owners that can no longer keep the animal or by strays that were impounded for running loose.
When an animal comes in as a stray, it is held for 5 days to give the owner a chance to claim it. If the owner does not claim it, on the 6th day it is put up for adoption or foster. During this 5 day holding period, if a potential adopter would like to adopt the animal, they are welcome to sign up on the adoption list. The names on the adoption list are contacted on the 6th day if no owner has made claim.
If there are no names on the adoption list, then the animal will become first come, first served when available for adoption.
