Terrific Tulsa

Tulsa is a darling female, 9-mo.-old blue-tic beagle mix. She has beautiful, distinct coloring, and looks exactly like a beagle, except that her ears are a little shorter, and still has all that puppy cuteness. She was just spayed and is in excellent health. Tulsa is crate-trained, a doggy door master, and has never gone potty in her foster family’s house! She still needs to remember what items she should chew. She gets along well with her foster family’s beagles, and is oh, so affectionate! She loves to sit in her foster family’s laps, and she loves to kiss as well. Make this your lucky day by applying to adopt this adorable little girl!

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

The first step in our adoption process is the completion of our on-line application to adopt. The application can be found on our website.

2.
Approve Application

Go to our website www.HoustonBeagleRescue.org and click on the link "About Adoption." After receiving your application, we will contact you.

3.
Home Check

Once your application is approved, a volunteer will bring the beagle to your home to meet your family and pets, and approve the adoption..

4.
Meet the Pet

You are invited to attend our monthly meet and greets without completing an application, but no adoption can take place before applying.

Additional adoption info

The first step in our adoption process is for interested parties to complete the on-line adoption application found on our website. We require an adoption fee ($300 for purebred beagles and coon hounds; $250 for mixes; $200 for special needs or seniors 8 years +; and $350 for pups age 8 mo. or younger) and an adoption contract. ALL dogs will be vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoption!

We typically have meet & greet events on the second Sunday of each month, from noon to 3:00 p.m. and will always bring several of the rescued beagles to that event, so look up the location of the month on our website, and come meet some adorable beagles! We also periodically hold special activities, and occasionally attend Houston-area adoption events which will be listed on our "events" section of our website. Our quarterly newsletter is published on our website at www.HoustonBeagleRescue.org
