My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Java, a sweet and gentle soul who's looking for a second chance at love.

This (estimated) 5-year-old pitbull was found as a stray with a rope around her neck and a handmade paper tag that read what her name was. It's believed she was dumped by her previous owners, and now she's learning to adjust to shelter life.

Java is shy and timid, but once you gain her trust, she'll show you her loving and affectionate side. She's still getting used to her new surroundings, but she's making progress every day.

This beautiful girl deserves a forever home where she'll be loved, cherished, and never abandoned again. If you're patient, kind, and willing to help her feel safe and loved, Java promises to be your loyal companion.

Let's give Java the second chance she deserves. Apply to adopt her today and show her that love and kindness still exist. She is spayed, microchipped and current on all vaccinations. To adopt, go to our website: www.nokillarc.org to fill out a pre-approval form.
