For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Wallflower may affectionately be referred to as a “pocket pittie”, but having little legs won’t stop her from pit-patting her way into your heart!
Wallflower is 1 year old and weighs 38 lbs. She is a social butterfly, friendly with dogs and people. Sadly, poor Wallflower was found as a stray in the city and being such a small, young girl was extremely frightened at the over-crowded and chaotic city shelter. Thankfully, a kind foster saw Wallflower and knew this little lady deserved a better chance at life. Since she was rescued from euthanasia in May 2024, she has done so wonderfully in her foster home. Taking care of her is a breeze and she loves hanging out with her foster siblings. Wallflower is very easy going and is happy just to be by your side. She loves to snuggle and is so affectionate. Wallflower is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped and ready to find her forever home!
If you can open your heart and home to dear Wallflower, please contact AmsterDog by call/text at 917-689-8414 or by e-mail at info@amsterdog.org. Apply to adopt Wallflower at AmsterDog.org.

AmsterDog Rescue does not have its own facility. Instead, we rely on fosters to care for our beloved animals. Our available animals may change depending on your location and we do transport animals for adoptions within a reasonable distance. Since you will possibly be speaking with and meeting a foster directly, an application must be filled out prior to meet and greets.
