Meet Kuromi, an adorable 1 year old girl with the cutest ankle socks and purring purr-sonality to go with them! This outgoing and social girl loves to be your center of attention, and isn't shy about giving a meow as a reminder she is there and ready for love! She is an excellent personal assistant who will follow you everywhere you go, just in case you need her help.
Kuromi is as playful as she is lovable, and is always looking for something to investigate! She is curious about everything and loves every toy she meets. She sometimes gets a little excited during playtime and would benefit from a cat savvy home who can recognize her cues and redirect her energy with positive reinforcement. She would prefer to be your only feline, but may do well with a smaller dog who will let her do her own thing. No kiddos for this sweet girl, purr-lease!

About Ten Lives:
Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat.
Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience!
All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.

All potential adopters must fill out the Ten Lives adoption application, show proof of either home ownership or landlords approval, and current veterinary records for any resident animals. All approved adopters will be required to sign the Ten Lives adoption agreement.
