Meet Oscar! He and his siblings were rescued at 6 months of age in a Trap-Neuter-Return project. They were older kittens, and due to be released as they were not used to people, but we wanted to take a chance on them.
Oscar is a 1-year-old male black cat with a personality as unique as his glossy coat. Though he may be a little shy at first, especially with human touch, Oscar's gentle nature and playful spirit make him a truly special companion.
Oscar may take a bit of time to warm up, but once he does, you'll discover a delightful friend who adores hanging out with people on the bed and couch. He has a knack for cozying up in the most comfortable spots, and his quiet presence will make your relaxation time even more enjoyable.
While Oscar may take a minute to warm up to new people, he makes up for in his love for other pets. He’s a true socialite when it comes to cats and dogs, thriving in a home where he has furry friends to play and cuddle with. His playful antics and curious nature will keep you entertained as he explores and interacts with his new surroundings.
If you have a warm, loving home and are patient enough to help Oscar come out of his shell, you'll find he has a heart full of potential and affection to offer. Give this sweet boy a chance, and you'll gain a loyal companion who will bring joy and playful energy into your life.
Oscar is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, treated for parasites, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. If you're interested in meeting this beautiful boy, fill out an application at www.brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms and designate DanaH as the rescuer.
