Meet Gucci, the perfect blend of smart, cuddly, and chill! This 3-year-old, 66-pound Australian Shepherd mix is friendly, adaptable, and always ready to make new friends—both human and canine. Gucci is a people-loving pup who adores snuggling on the couch but also enjoys quiet time curled up on his dog bed. He’s smart and eager to please, especially when treats are involved, and he’s already mastered “sit” like a pro! Gucci is crate-trained, house-trained, and walks beautifully on a leash, complete with the cutest ear bounce. His mellow energy makes him happy with two good walks a day, and he loves to show off his yoga-inspired “downward dog” stretch! Gucci is inquisitive, playful, and adores toys, making him a wonderful mix of entertainment and companionship. He’s an ideal fit for a family looking for a loving, loyal companion who’s ready to be your new best friend. Additional adoption info

An approved application, vet reference, personal reference check and home visit are required to finalize an adoption. We suggest a $200 donation that helps offset some of our expenses such as feeding, boarding, training, vaccinations, spay/neuter, and miscellaneous veterinary costs.
Adoption fees are used to continue to help homeless animals in need!

We are a rescue that is dependent on volunteers as we do not have a physical building. We rent space at a kennel in Upperco, Md. If you would like to meet one of our dogs please contact us to make arrangements. Thanks!

Adopt a Homeless Animal Rescue (AAHA) is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and assisting animals in crisis. We actively combat animal cruelty in any form.

We have a particular commitment to pit bulls and aim to raise awareness about the breed, help those in need, and educate the public:
•We seek to promote this lovely yet unfairly maligned breed as the sweet, intelligent, affectionate, and people-oriented dogs they are.
•We assume stewardship over their well-being and strive to make this world a better place for them.
•We serve as a resource and/or liaison for shelters, individuals, and the community at large, advocating for any animal in harm's way.
•We also function in an advisory role for private citizens who seek assistance and guidance in better caring for their pets.
