My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I’m Hawkeye! No need to get your feathers ruffled—I’m here to steal hearts, not prey. My heroic journey began when I was plucked right from the talons of a hawk (talk about a near miss!). Now that I’ve traded the skies for a cozy home, I’m all about basking in my second chance at life. I may not be a lap warmer, but I’m a pro at what I like to call strategic snuggling—I’ll be right by your side, touching you just enough to show my affection without crowding your space. You could say I’ve got the claw-sic art of companionship down to a science. When I’m not mastering my snuggle tactics, I’m an equal-opportunity toy player. Balls of yarn, crinkly mice, feather wands—you name it, I’m game! I’ll pounce, bat, and chase like a true hunter (minus the talons). And don’t worry, I’m also a self-sufficient kind of gal; I can entertain myself when you're busy, but I’ll always be ready for a paw-some play session when you are. So, if you’re in need of a fearless feline who’s already used up one of her nine lives in a dramatic rescue, I’m your purrfect match—talon-ted, sweet, and always up for a good time!

Go meet their pets

We will be holding adoption event days with PetSmart on Ft Jackson Blvd and Two Notch Rd as well as PetSense on Garners Ferry Rd. These are partnerships that we've initiated and that have been greeted with open arms by these great organizations. MUCH More to Come!

More about this rescue

At Cat Around Town Project, we believe that by spaying and neutering as many stray and colony cats as possible, we are proactively controlling overpopulation at its source. All kittens and any cats that are adoptable are removed from the colonies and adopted to suitable homes. One day, when the supply meets the demand, there will be a home waiting for every kitten in our community. .
