REPORTED BY FORMER CARETAKER: Ty and his brother Drake, were in the care of a relative that would come to their home and feed them after their owner passed away until they could come to the shelter. They spent their days in the backyard outside and nights in a crate in the home. Ty is good being left alone for up to 8 hours per day and is crate trained and house trained. He walks well on the leash and knows the sit, no and come commands. He is a pure-bred Labrador Retriever.
OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Ty is a little shy meeting new people at first and appreciates a gentle approach. Once he warms up to you, he’s a very sweet, cuddly fellow! He was recently groomed and did great! He doesn’t like cats, but did live with his brother, Drake and they get along very well. We recommend older, dog-savvy children.
Weighs approximately pounds; $25 to adopt.
If adopted with Drake, $35 for both!
