From his super soft topaz and ivory coat to his easy and affectionate personality, sweet Colby is a tabbyman classic! He’s never met a toy he didn’t enjoy, and games and romps with his look-alike sister, Coral, put bouncy fun in every day. His long, springy white legs make him fast on all fours and stretch out impressively when it’s time to relax. This great little guy is as affectionate as he is full of fun and loves to be scooped up to be snoozled and loved on and shows his appreciation by giving the best velvety head boops and soft cheek rubs! A playfully happy spirit, a strong loving vibe, and great, easy-care good looks will make him a forever family’s beloved treasure. Could cuddly Colby be the darling gem for you?

All cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for fleas and ear mites, tested for FELV/FIV and microchipped. You must fill out an adoption application and talk directly with one of our adoption coordinators. An adoption contract must be signed at time of adoption.

You may visit The Cat House daily, except major holidays, 1-4 pm, by appointment only. We also have an off-site adoption center located inside Petco at 4144 N. Blackstone at Ashlan in Fresno, which is open open daily 10am-5pm and Wednesday 10am-6pm.

The Cat House on the Kings is California's largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center located on 12 acres along the Kings River in Parlier, California, which is in the central San Joaquin Valley, southeast of Fresno.

At The Cat House, our mission is to:
1) provide a no-cage, no-kill sanctuary for feral and abandoned cats and kittens for the State of California, primarily serving the Central Valley;
2) facilitate the adoption of cats (primarily), dogs and other rescued animals into safe, loving, healthy and permanent homes;
3) educate the public on how to become directly involved in improving the quality of animal welfare;
4) offer low cost spay and neuter referrals.
