My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meow (hello!) ~ I am Lil Tiger, a dark silver tabby. I'm a very social guy, like my twin, Toni. We currently room with our brother, Frankie (please check his bio!). We all play in our tunnels, climb towers, use our scratching poles, chase all our toys, and have our meals together. We enjoy sunning in the window atop our tower. At nap time, we snuggle together. Our foster mom's dog Perla comes to visit us, she is so gentle, and lets us sniff her fur and nose. We also enjoy when the grandkids (10 & 12) visit, and play with us. I am looking for a forever home with one of my brothers. Please contact our foster mom at tammygehrke14@gmail.com

More about this rescue

H.A.L.O. is the East Contra Costa County Homeless Animals' Lifeline Organization, better known as H.A.L.O. We are a nonprofit, all volunteer, 501c(3) charitable organization who assists dogs, cats and their owners in Eastern Contra Costa County.
We rescue approximatly 500 animals a year, all by volunteers, all in our homes and in our hearts.
We are not a shelter,
We have grant funds for the spaying and neutering of East County ferals and food for them if needed.
We have a program called "Angel Ears" where certified dogs and their trainers go to the local libraries and the children read to the dogs. This has proven a very effective way to increase reading skills rapidly. We also take the dogs to senior facilities.
We are in need of volunteer in many capacities.
