My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Roxy! I was brought to the shelter by one of the nice deputies of Animal Control. He picked me up right out of the street. I am glad to be safely waiting with my new friends! I am a two-year-old terrier mix. If you think you would like to meet me go to our website at www.montgomeryhumane.com and fill out the adoption application and send it in online. The shelter made sure I had all of my vaccinations, that I had a microchip, and that I was spayed. One little problem did show up on my health check up. I am heartworm positive! I am not worried. I know the shelter will be with me throughout my treatment. Please call and ask about me. FYI...I have already started my heartworm treatment!!

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
