My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

John here! I am what they call a "teenage" puppy! Whoa! What fun!! I was running in traffic along with my sister near the casino! We were almost hit several times, when a kind rescuer saw us! She knew "trouble" was ahead if we didn't get off of the road! She was able to catch us and run us to the shelter. Well the shelter sent us to a local kennel where we could safely wait, avoiding any sickness in the shelter. We are young and will need some training in good doggie manners! We are also very smart and super sweet! It would be great if we could go together, but more importantly we each need loving homes. Before I can leave the kennel to go to my new home, I will have to get vaccinated, I will get a microchip, and I will be neutered. Please let the shelter know that you would like to meet me!

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
