My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bond is a sweet middle aged dog.  We guess him at around 4-5 years of age.  He is crate trained, good with other dogs, and likely housetrained as well. He will be neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, wormed and microchipped before going to his new home.

Bond is around 45 lbs. He walks ok on leash and loves attention but can be a bit shy with new people. Once he warms up he is your best buddy.

Anyone interested in Bond should stop in to meet him and complete an application.  If you have other dogs he must meet them before adoption can be approved. **Our application is NOT online.

More about this shelter

We are the Morrow County Dog Shelter, operated by the county.
Our shelter houses stray and homeless dogs from our county. We are a small shelter with an annual intake between 250-400 dogs. Some of our available dogs go through a prison training program if they qualify.
Our adoption fee includes all basic vet care and it is completed before a dog goes to his/her new home. An adoption application is necessary for all dogs prior to an adopter being chosen.
