My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact foster, RAYOPD@GMAIL.COM

•She’s ex-“Cowgirl” (for those who volunteer/dog walk at the CMPD animal shelter that’s the name she was known as over there).
•Totally affectionate sweetheart.
•Very obedient and always eager to please her human.
•House broken (can leave her for 10 hrs alone in the house. Does not make toys of items in the house).
•Greets you at the door when you come home with full body wiggles and an infectious smile.
•Does not get on furniture incl couch and bed.
•Knows bedding pad and loves to sleep there at night.
•Loves car rides (very calm, quiet and does not disturb driver seeking attention/affection).
•Loves to play w/ my dog at home (still a puppy, 1-yr old, so play may seem rough but it isn’t. It’s just puppy energy coming out).
•Loves to play with all dog toys too, especially tug of war in a very lovable way.
•Very eager to meet all dogs and people.
•Loves to go out for walks and hikes. Walks well on leash (can be a puller at times but best to use a harness and hook leash to chest - no pull spot. Then she does not pull at all).
•Even took her camping in the mountains and she did fantastic there for the 3 days we were up there, including 2 nights in the tent.
•Smooth and soft velvety fur (very cuddly and loves loves loves cuddles).
•Adorable spots (that’s why the shelter had named her cowgirl, but she definitely knows her new name “Chanel”).
•Loves her bath and stays calm, enjoying the experience.
•About 40-45 lbs. Medium to small in size.
