Hi! I’m Laila! I am an active and outgoing girl who gets along with other dogs and kids too. I haven’t been around cats yet to know how I would do with them. Since I am so young, I am working on my house training, crate training and leash training. I can be shy when I first meet someone, but I tend to warm up quickly. New situations scare me a little, but if you allow me time to explore and adjust I adapt really well and then the next time I am so much more comfortable. My foster mom says I like to observe and I am always watching everything and I make the best facial expressions. I am also very sweet and loving and can be a little ornery. I like snuggling and playing and have your typical puppy energy. My favorite things are: meat flavored and small soft treats and all sorts of toys like the ones that squeak and toys I can chew on. I am working really hard on my commands and I am getting pretty good at “sit”. I cannot wait to find a family all my own who will work with me as I learn and grow and who will provide me all the love I deserve! Our fees depend on age of pet but include all relevant shots, vetting, micro-chip and spay/neuter unless a vet recommends not doing.

We do require a contract, home and vet check. All animals currently in your home must also be spayed/neutered unless a vet recommends otherwise.

Cause for Canines is a 501(c)(3)volunteer based all-breed dog rescue founded in Central Ohio.

We are committed to the rescue of homeless dogs, dogs given up by their owners due to difficult circumstances or those in danger of abuse or neglect, and dogs in shelters that are at risk of euthanasia.

Our mission is to find safe, loving, committed and permanent homes for the dogs we take into rescue.
