My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Shadow, a 5-year-old pit with a heart full of love and a laid-back attitude. My name might sound mysterious, but I promise there's nothing spooky about me! My previous owner passed away, and now I'm looking for someone new to share my calm, easy-going vibes with. I may be heartworm-positive, but don't worry-the shelter's got my treatment covered, so all I need is a cozy home to recover in.

I've been told I'm medium to low energy, which means I'm not the type to zoom around the house all day. I'm more into peaceful strolls and just hanging out. Walking me is a breeze-I stay right by your side and never pull, making me the perfect match if you're looking for a dog who's drama-free. I've met a dozen dogs in one morning and got along with all of them. I let them do the greeting while I just stay chill. Even when I came across a whole flock of geese, I didn't make a fuss. I guess you could say I'm pretty laid back!

Commands are still something I'm figuring out, but with some patience and positive reinforcement, I know I can get the hang of them. I might not know a lot of tricks, but I've got plenty of love to give. If you're looking for a relaxed, easy-to-walk companion who's as sweet as they come, I might just be the perfect match for you. Let's take it easy together!
