Meet the cutest mother daughter duo on the west coast! These lovable chihuahuas came to us from a kill shelter in California and are now looking for their forever home after successful cataract surgeries. Both are certified lover girls, they have the sweetest personalities and absolutely adore being around human friends. Milagro, the mom, is a bit more shy but incredibly sweet and friendly once she warms up, enjoying calm moments and gentle pets. Minnie, her energetic daughter, loves to cuddle and quickly becomes everyone’s best friend. Together, they adore the company of others and are eager to find a forever home where they can share their double dose of love.

Minnie and Milagro are up to date on vaccines, microchipped and spayed.

Founded by Vivian Goldbloom in 2013, Emerald City Pet Rescue exists to rescue abused, neglected, and homeless animals from high-volume shelters around the country.

We pride ourselves on providing the best medical care possible for our rescued animals and rehabilitating hard-to-adopt animals to help them increase their chances of finding loving homes.

Our screening process includes meet and greets, reference checks, and a visit to the potential owner’s home to ensure the home and family are compatible with the pet’s needs and our requirements. We do everything we can to ensure that loving homes are found for these amazing pets.

Emerald City Pet Rescue is run by dedicated staff and volunteers who give their time and resources to house, train, rehabilitate, and care for our animals. Above all else, we truly believe that Love Can Save Lives.
