Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Walter is a shepherd/poodle mix who found himself in a high-kill, rural shelter along with his siblings. They were on the euthanasia list due to overpopulation. They arrived in NY on 8/3, severely underweight. The good news is they have good appetites and are slowly putting on weight. Walter is a very sweet boy who loves to play and also loves to cuddle. He's happy to roll around with the other pups, but will follow us from room to room, looking for attention. He loves to fall asleep curled up with a human or other pup. If you'd like to give Walter a chance, please fill out an application at www.bigdsbigdogrehab.com.

More about this rescue
We are a small rescue dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating abandoned, abused and homeless dogs (with an eye to larger breed dogs who are generally harder to place). We provide basic obedience training in an attempt to ensure our dogs stand a better chance of finding permanent forever homes. All dogs are socialized to other dogs and cats.
