Irish is a 2 year old, 10 lb Yorkie/Chihuahua mix. For some unknown reason, she wasn't getting much attention on the adoption sites, so she tolerated wearing a clown costume, hoping you would notice her. Irish is a super cute, feisty little redhead who loves to play with toys and play chase with other dogs. Irish loves being close to and cuddling with her people. She is crate trained and potty trained. Irish needs a home with a securely fenced backyard since she is curious about the outside world and can be creative about finding ways to get out and about. Irish is still a bit cautious with new people, but she warms up quickly. If you are interested in Irish, please complete an application, and an adoption counselor will follow up with you.

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.

Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats

Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs

The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.
