Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MARIBELLA was rescued from a very neglectful home. Not enough food to eat, sometimes none and trapped with unsocial adult cats who would pick on her. They were all competing for the little food left for them.

So she may have started out as a frightened young cat, but has become a confident girl who will give hugs and high fives. Her time being bullied didn't leave lasting damage though. She loves to reach out to the other cats around her to interact with them.

Maribella has a strong personality and doesn't mind "speaking" her mind.
Mari would love a home with another respectfully playful cat to spend her days with.

NOW HOW DO I MEET OR ADOPT THIS CAT?

2. Click on the "Apply To Adopt" button to submit an online adoption application.

** NOTE: You will get an email confirmation that we have received your
application. If you do not see this email appear upon submission, please check
your "spam" folder.

3. Your application will be processed and a volunteer adoption counselor will call or email with any questions.

** NOTE: If any questions are left unanswered or incomplete, the application
cannot be processed. A completely filled out application will take 1-3 days to
process! Missing or inaccurate answers may invalidate the application.

4. We will set up a time with you to meet the animal you've applied to adopt!

** NOTE: Our volunteers strive to make the best possible match once the application is accepted. Our goal is a fit that benefits both the cat and the home!

** We DO give preference to applicants with verifiable pet experience.

All cats are spayed/neutered, FeLV/FIV negative unless otherwise indicated.

All cats are up to date on age appropriate vaccinations.

All of our resident cats use their litter boxes unless otherwise indicated. Cats are naturally inclined to use a litter box.

Cat Fact: If a domestic cat is not using a litter box THEY ARE TRYING TO TELL YOU SOMETHING IS WRONG! It should never be ignored! Your cat is depending on you for help.

Our adoption fee for felines is $100.

That covers the cost of spay/neuter, FeLV/FIV test, deworming, flea prevention (if applicable) and vaccinations (if applicable).
