Meet Sammy. She came to the shelter with a carabiner embedded into her arm. She has since had the carabiner removed and is healing nicely. Sammy is so sweet. You can tell how much she appreciates the love and attention she is getting. Sammy is ready to find her home ??

Some qualities about Sammy:
- LOVES to cuddle...seriously just wants to be in your lap with her head on your chest all the time
- Has lived with a cat, would benefit from slow intros
- Crate trained and potty trained
- Will go potty right outside my building
- Treat motivated and is eager to please
- We are still working on pulling when walking on the leash sometimes but she is doing so well
- Knows basic commands
- Doesn't bark
- Kid friendly

LifeLine embraces the Adopters Welcome approach. This philosophy encourages conversation-based and open-minded adoptions, enabling us to find more homes for our shelter pets without unnecessary judgment.
We have many wonderful pets waiting to be yours! Adoption fees are $85 for dogs and $65 for cats (Dogs over 5 years old, $40). The adoption fee to persons over 55 years old is $40. Adoptions includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, heartworm test, fecal test, and Feline Leukemia/FIV test for cats.

Monday – Friday: 11:00am – 7:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: 11:00am – 6:00pm
Closed these holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
