My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shelby – The Sweetest Survivor Looking for Her Forever Home!

Shelby’s story is one of resilience and love. This Husky-Shepherd mix came to our rescue as a puppy, fought through a severe illness that nearly took her life, and made it through like the fighter she is. She was adopted but later abandoned to the streets. 💔 Thankfully, she found her way back to us, was adopted again a few months ago—but once more, she was returned. Not her fault. Their fault for giving up on her.

Through it all, Shelby remains an absolute gem, a volunteer favorite, and the kind of dog who still greets everyone with a smile and a sweet kiss. She’s great with kids, cats, and dogs, making her the perfect addition to any loving home.

Shelby deserves someone who won’t give up on her. Could that be you? Apply today and give this incredible girl the forever home she’s been waiting for.

More about this rescue

Southern Nevada Animal Rescue League (SNARL) exists to provide a better life for adoptable homeless, abandoned, or abused animals. We aim to assist in the effort of limiting the overpopulation of these animals as well as educate the public against breed or size discrimination. There is no such thing as a “bad breed”, only bad humans. Our mission is to make sure all of the animals we rescue are placed in loving, safe, and viable fur-ever homes.
