Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi Peeps. I'm Pluto, a female kitty despite the name, and I'm looking for my forever home.

I was surrendered to the rescue when my humans had to move to another state. My feline brother was surrendered to a different rescue and already adopted before SOS knew of my situation. My canine siblings were also surrendered to different organizations. I had a hard time dealing with the situation as I lost the only family I knew.

I'm a very outgoing, social, and talkative gal. I'm 3 years old but as playful as any kitten if you let me. I play with balls, cat nip toys, or hunt the feather or string toy. Without fail, I will sit on the other side of the door waiting for people to interact with me.

During my stay at the adoption center my caretakers learned that I'm selective with which cats I like. In my previous home, I lived with dogs and the rescue folks assume that I will slow introduction to a new canine sibling.

Three things I love:
1) Hair ties! - I will entertain myself for hours chasing a hair tie around the hard wood floor. If you have carpet, it's not a deal breaker and I will adjust.
2) Laundry baskets - because I'm "helping" with laundry every single time.
3) Wet Food! Enough said.

In case it's important: I exclusively scratch on the scratching post or cat tree for my manicure. I'm also the perfect office or study buddy. I don't hop on my foster mom's desk unless I'm asked nicely. I also consider myself brave because I like to watch the vacuum (from a distance) while other cats run.

I have a unique meow - some would say like a grumpy old lady but I would take offense to that. I love affection on my terms. I will put my head in your hand for pets. I like head and chin scratches but I'm not a fan of back scratches. I also don't like to be picked up and carried around. I have my own feet to run to the couch or bed and join you there. I can be a lap cat, night time buddy, or couch potato. Let's find out what service I can provide for you!
