Biscuit is one amazing family dog!

Biscuit is the ultimate companion ready for a walk or couch snuggles- you say the word! Foster pup Biscuit has spent some months healing from emaciated conditions and is now ready to find herself a home!

This silly girl Biscuit is playful, mischievous and so much fun! This 1 year old pup is stronger, plumper and ready for adoption! She's ready for a home with older kids who will dote on her and possibly even a canine companion! Biscuit is house trained, snuggly, walks well on leash PLUS already spayed so she can join your family quickly! She is well trained, knows many of commands and with her hunger for treats she's happy to learn more! Biscuit can't wait to be part of your family!

Individuals wishing to adopt an animal from our shelter must complete an adoption application and provide proof of home ownership or, if you are a renter, you must provide a copy of your lease or a notarized letter from your landlord stating pets are permitted. You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt any animal from our shelter. We reserve the right to refuse any adoption. In some instances, a home visit may be required. Our fees vary depending on the age and breed of the animal. Typically, a mix breed is $110.00 and a purebreed is $150.00 and up. There is also an altering charge of $85.00 for a male and $95.00 for a female. All animals receive vaccines, microchip identification, frontline treatments.

We are opened 7 days a week between the hours of 12:00-5:00pm for adoptions. No appt is necessary and we welcome prospective adopters to bring their current pet for a meet and greet with one of our orphans.

The Newark Branch of the Associated Humane Societies provides the following services including animal control, animal surrenders & adoptions, cruelty investigations, educational outreach & low cost spay/neuter services in our stationary clinic, as well as our Mobile Spay/Neuter Unit.
