Blue girl Monika wasn't just blue on the outside, but also feeling the shelter blues when she arrived as a lost dog. But our staff are persistent and wouldn't give up on this girl, just check out her smile!
Now that 2 year old Monika is getting more comfortable with our staff, her true personality is shining through! We're finding that once a scares girl, Monika is fun, friendly and excited for life again. Sweetie that she is, Monika is also smart and willing to learn more commands if treats are in it for her. Though not tested with dogs yet, Monika appears to be non-reactive outside with other dogs.
We'd love for you to come to the shelter to get to know Monika! Adoption applications can be filled out in person or online: ahscares.org/adopt **After applying online, please come in person to meet the pet you are interested in, applications will not be approved prior to meet and greets** Monika ID# 71339
