HELLO EVERYONE! My name is Arson, and I was lucky enough to come to MVPC about 3 months ago after some unkind person poured chemicals over my back and hip. Not fun, but you can't keep a good dog down! I have spent my time healing up, and I'm trying really hard to grow my hair back. Now I'm ready to begin my search for a new family to love and care for me. I'm a silly, happy guy who adores humans of all sizes. Older kiddos are best, because I love to romp and roll, and I don't want to knock them over. I also wouldn't mind a tolerant playmate who will help me learn proper play manners. I'm doing much better, but sometimes I just get so excited to have friends. I'm also doing well learning my basic commands and walking on a leash and would like a family willing to help me continue my lessons. I am housebroken and good in my crate. Now I'll be honest...I am working hard on the hair growing thing, but I will most likely always have scars on my back and hip from the wounds. Fomma says it doesn't change the best part of me, which is my heart. She also says I'm very handsome anyway.

PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions for our ADULT dogs only, though rare, may be made on a case-by-case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding!
