Rescued from an car engine

Hi there!! I'm Violet! I was found in a car engine the day before that big storm came along with my siblings! My cat mama put us in there so we'd be safe from the hurricane and then she sat down on the porch and kept an eye on us. This couple saw her and heard us meowing- so they worked hard on getting us out. Then they took all of us inside including our mom! We were so tiny and still nursing.

I am the bravest one and love to explore and investigate things! I love to play with those springs and also the wand toys and oh yeah! The foam balls!! I'm sweet and a cuddle bug. If you're looking for a sweetheart of a kitty - stop here! (Hehe!) You can come visit me at PetSmart on Saturdays, 12-3, in Cypress OR you can contact Janet at catlady5555@yahoo.com. We do have an application, which can be filled out online on our website, or in person at an adoption location and then a contract upon approval.

Kittens under 1 year old: $100
A pair of kittens under 1 year old: $150

Cats over 1 year old: $50
A pair of cats over 1 year old: $75

Black or Black/White Cats over 1 year old: $25
A pair of Black or Black/White Cats over 1 year old: $40

We hold adoptions on most Saturday's at Petsmart Cypress (Hwy 290 @ Spring-Cypress) from Noon to 4pm.

More about this rescue

Purr Paws Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3). We are a foster based rescue, meaning that we do not have a shelter. All of our cats and kittens live with their foster families until adoption. We are a no-kill rescue, meaning that we do not euthanize for space. Quality of life is important to us.

Purr Paws Rescue is always looking for new foster homes and volunteers to help with adoption days, transport, and the adoption center at Petsmart Cypress.
