Friendly, sweet, silly

Racecar is a special kitty in so many ways! He will amaze you with all of his tricks. He knows how to sit, roll over, and even high-five! He's a friendly, happy guy who loves head scritches and snuggles.

Racecar suffered some injuries as a kitten that left him with a stumpy ear and a wonky back leg. He can get around just fine, but he would appreciate a litter box with low sides so it's easier for him to get in and out.

Racecar gets along well with cats and dogs. He would just need the usual introduction time to get to know them. He grew up with his buddy Laszlo; they adore each other and would love to go home together if possible.

Step two:
Using the provided contact form here or on the APA! website, you can send an inquiry on the animal(s) you are interested in.

Step three:
Our adoption team will connect you to the foster home or someone at the shelter location where the animal is currently living to learn more about the animal and potentially set up a visit!

Step four:
After meeting the animal you would like to adopt, instructions for completing the adoption paperwork, scheduling an appointment, and picking up your new family member will be shared with you!
