My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Luna is currently in foster care and available to meet you via virtual meet and greet. To begin the process, please submit an adoption survey and the team will reach out via email with next steps (please check spam). For any additional questions, please contact fosternyc@bestfriends.org.

Introducing Luna! This beautiful 6-year-old black female cat has a sleek and shiny coat that is sure to catch your eye. While Luna can be shy in new situations, she appreciates a gentle approach and warms up quickly to those who are patient and kind. Once comfortable, she reveals her loving and sweet nature.

Her fosters say she is making great progress with them. "As soon as I opened the carrier, Luna cautiously stepped out, and the bumped up against me, seeking pets. Now, she jumps up onto the couch and steps on my lap and begins purring loudly. She was and still is afraid of loud noises and proceeds to hide under the bed, but is easy to get to come out. ". They describe her as cuddly, silky, and quiet and shy. She is a lap cat , and she has a wonderful purr.

Luna is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed, ensuring she is in excellent health and ready to find her forever home.
