Meet Hazel! This happy social butterfly loves everyone and would be an excellent family pet. She still has lots of bouncy puppy energy, and because of this would do better in a home with older children. She was found as a stray so her history is a mystery, but so far she has been a solid citizen in the house. She is interested in the resident cat (maybe a little too interested for his taste) but has not done anything other than sniff him. She is enthusiastic and playful with other dogs. This sweet cuddle bug loves to be at your side and will happily nap next to you for hours. She would love to be your work from home buddy or to go to the office with you. She is quiet and well behaved in the crate but would prefer not to be left alone for more than half the day. She is smart and wants to please! She has learned her name quickly and comes when called. We are working on sitting politely for leashing and getting out of the crate (its soooo hard when you're as excited as she is), and she learns very fast. She responds well to a calm and consistent training style and will do most anything for a treat. She's a great candidate for someone who will take her to training classes as she loves to work and learn. She's still learning to walk on a leash politely (her energy and enthusiasm get in the way) but is getting there. So far she has only been in the car in a kennel, but did great. She is an absolute sweetheart and would be an amazing companion for someone who can appreciate her boundless zest for life.
