Meet Zoey, a sweet and spunky little Frenchie with a calm and mellow demeanor for her breed. Zoey is quiet, only barking at delivery trucks or unfamiliar visitors. She’s both house-trained and crate-trained, and she sleeps peacefully through the night. While she’s content in her own bed, she would love to snuggle up with you if you’re open to it.
Zoey enjoys going on walks, and her foster mom is helping her get in shape to shed a few extra pounds. She gets along with other dogs, after slow introductions. But she may be dog selective at times. She previously lived with a male Frenchie and would likely do well with a playmate. She does not do well with cats and her interest in chasing bunnies suggests she might have a prey drive. She would be better in a home with no kids or older kids as she seems to not do well with the younger ones.
Zoey is a very good girl who adores cuddles once she gets to know you.

Adoption fees are based on the breed, health, age, and behavioral status of each dog. All dogs are microchipped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, flea/worm treated and have had a wellness exam before becoming adoptable. If you are interested in adopting a BHNW dog, please fill out the online application. If you are matched to the dog you are interested in or another dog in our program, you will be contacted by the foster family. Prior to adopting, there is a mandatory home evaluation to ensure your home and family are ready for that dog. We require a contract for all adoptions and there is a two-week trial to ensure a good match. If for any reason you can no longer care for the dog you adopted from us, that dog must be returned to our program.
