Meet Torito, a 13 year old mustang gelding who is currently working on groundwork and desensitization with and without a saddle. He is a sweet and gentle boy who is looking for a patient and experienced home. You can walk right out in the pasture and catch him. Torito has active uveitis in both of his eyes, which means that his vision is impaired. Our veterinarians believe that he will eventually become completely blind. However, he is otherwise completely healthy and has a big, round belly to prove it. Torito is a timid horse who can be spooky in new situations because he is not yet acclimated to his vision loss. He will need a patient and understanding owner who is willing to work with him to build his confidence. He is a great horse for someone who is looking for a project horse or a companion animal.
