Orion is a 2 year old 45 lbs Australian cattle dog mix who was rescued off the streets of India. He has been let down by humans and has not had an easy life. Orion now needs a calm patient loving home with humans who have time to devote to him. Orion is currently in NY and looking for his fureverhome in NY NJ CT. He does not like city life. He needs a home with a fenced backyard in a quiet area.

Orion's nature is super chill and deeply soulful. He is a very sweet and affectionate boy, who wasn’t treated very well by people so he can be a bit shy at first until he knows you mean him no harm. But he loves attention from humans and looks deeply into your eyes and gives you his paw to feel connected. He needs someone with a big heart who has time to devote to making him feel safe and loved. He would love a calm relaxed home with a gentle dog friend or as your only dog. Orion is neutered and up to date on shots.

We require adopters to have a safe and secure backyard - not electric or Fido fences as they are not as safe at containing dogs or keeping other animals or people out. For these reasons we do not adopt to homes with electric or Fido fencing.

The adoption fee is $500 which includes age appropriate vaccines, microchip, monthly flea, tick and heart worm preventatives at time of adoption.
