- Wiggly boy who loves pets and attention, will approach everyone for love
- Likes toys but is even more interested in treats; enjoys getting food and treats out of a puzzle feeder or KONG
- LOVES water and enjoys playing in the creek and with water from the hose
- Super smart boy who already knows sit, loves to learn and would be lots of fun to train (currently learning how to play fetch in his foster home!)
- Foster family says he walks very nicely on a leash
- Likes hard chews to help use up his energy
- Good at sleeping in his crate overnight
- Tends to be a linebacker-type player with other dogs, which some dogs may not appreciate; will likely do best with a select group of rough-and-tumble dog friends with a similar play style (dog intro recommended)
- Is interested in the cat in his foster home but is easily distracted, may do okay with a cat in his new home after a slow introduction
- Looking for a teens-and-up home right now
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
