My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chili Powder , a male shorthair orange tabby kitten with white paws, is a part of our litter called Sweet & Salty Mix. He was born April 2024, and was rescued along with his four littermates and mom. Chili has started his kitten vaccinations (negative for FeL/FeLV and vaccinated for FVRCP), and has received his 1-year rabies vaccine. He has been neutered and microchipped too.

Here's what his foster family has to say about him: very shy, but curious. He needs a family that will take the time to get him socialized. Will probably do better with being adopted with a sibling or someone that has a younger cat. Loves to play with his siblings and toys. Exposure to cats and dogs - though he is still warming up to the dog, he’s in an open space with him consistently with no issues.

Chili Powder's Adoption Fee is $200. Plan Eligibility: Adopt Now! Applications that seek to adopt Chili Powder and Chipotle Spice together will be prioritized. To take the next steps with him, complete our adoption application here:   https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=BBTNKHMB

Additional adoption info

After completing an application, a Windsor Kittens volunteer will reach out to you to talk to you about next steps including opportunities to meet the cat(s) if you haven't already done so.

Playdates will only be scheduled for approved applicants to protect the safety of our cats and foster families. Adoptions are matched based on best fit, not who applied for a particular cat first. Adoptions are not considered finalized until an adoption contract has been completed and the adoption fee has been paid to Windsor Kittens.

More about this rescue

Windsor Kittens got its start in 2022 when four women in the Windsor Park neighborhood of east Charlotte, NC came together to address the large number of community cats in their area. Since then, this grassroots organization has expanded its efforts to rescue more cats for adoption and help greater numbers of community cats through trap-spay/neuter-vaccinate-release (TNR). Windsor Kittens loves helping cats find their forever homes.
