Ricky is a spirited male dog around 5 years old with plenty of energy to spare! If you're looking for a companion who's always ready to go, Ricky is your guy!!! He's got lots of enthusiasm, so be prepared for an active lifestyle together. Ricky can be moderately reactive to other dogs when leaving the kennel-he's just so excited to get outside! He's a smart boy who knows how to sit and takes treats gently. Ricky is also on the potty trained list, as he consistently keeps his kennel clean. He's in need of an active family or owner who can help him burn off his energy and enjoy life to the fullest. Come meet this energetic and loving dog!
Ricky came into his playgroup session with another female dog hot to trot! He was wide-eyed and virtually airborne on to her back. Fortunately, she is sturdy and tolerant, but we still helped her to slow him down with a few squirts of water. Ricky was definitely awkward and under socialized.
If you're interested in learning more about him, please reach out to our volunteer matchmakers at wcac.matchmaker@gmail.com with the subject line "Ricky 252328".
He is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be neutered prior to going home. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times.
